rating: 4 of 5 starsWhen a fifth grader finds out he was cheated out of a valuable Babe Ruth baseball card, he decides he will show the adults that kids won't lie down and take it. He assembles an unlikely team of classmates to steal the card back, and pulls off the biggest heist his little town has ever seen.
Great themes for kids: self-reliance, planning, teamwork. Wonderful story, with clear and simple vocabulary, easy enough for 4th grade. Also has a moral message at the end, thieves don't profit.

Such a cute video! And I LOVED your podcast post. It is exactly what I am hoping to read. Not that the assignments are making you crazy, but rather what your process is. I am so sorry it was frustrating. But if it makes you feel better, it is really valuable to read about the pitfalls as well as the positives! And thanks for the mention of gotomeeting.com. I was an invalid for most of February and being able to teach this class in my jammies was the highlight of my month!
