Integrated Technology

Our latest assignment is to develop a unit with integrated technology.  Not so tough, or so I thought.  It was easy to decide to step out of my comfort zone, elementary subjects, and decide to do upper-level science, 9th grade.  It was also easy to find a decent lesson plan that could be more interesting with technology.  And yet, here I am tearing my hair out!

I have learned this week that I know nothing about science, I know nothing about renewable energy sources, and I don't know how to make learning interesting for 9th graders.  Although I've been observing in a HS library for my other class, I don't know about teenagers and I don't know HS curriculum.   Our class wiki with suggestions on using various apps was very helpful, I have looked at it over and over, but still I'm struggling with meeting standards and developing rubrics.

This seems like way too much work for a one-week assignment!!  My fear of failure is looming large!!
